Smoke Season Releases Gripping Video In Four Part Film, Ouroboros

Mar 8 2016

Indie band, Smoke Season, just released the powerful video for their single “When the Smoke Clears.” Following the story a veteran’s struggle with PTSD, this video represents the second chapter of the tear-jerking short film, Ouroboros. “When the Smoke Clears” is another track on their Ouroboros EP, which is to be released later this year along with the film.

Ouroboros’ plot follows the stories of four different characters, each with their own music video, and each fighting their own personal battle. This second chapter focuses on a father who, upon his return from war, is tormented by the tragic effects of PTSD. Chase, played by Nicholas Gonzalez (Jane The Virgin, Bojack Horseman), has difficulty readjusting to a quotidian life. His blurred view of the world as he flashes back and forth between reality and traumatic scenes of war, is beautifully complemented by Smoke Season’s intense electro-Americana sound. Produced by VMA-nominated APLUSFILMZ, this cinematic piece of artistry is truly a moving experience and can be viewed on Vimeo now.
