Smoke Season Reveal “Loose,” 1st Chapter of New Indie Film

Nov 30 2015

Avant-garde indie rock band Smoke Season has partnered with prestigious film company APLUSFILMZ to create a breath-taking cinematic experience inspired by their upcoming EP Ouroboros. Known for working with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, director Scott Fleishman of APLUSFILMZ brings his remarkable visual sensibilities and creative intuition. The video release of Smoke Season’s single, “Loose,” unveils the first chapter of the film Ouroboros highlighting a forbidden romance that sheds light on the prevailing lack of LGBT acceptance in our society. Starring Lexi Ainsworth (General Hospital, Gilmore Girls), Nicole Fox (ANTM, The Bold & The Beautiful), and Julian De La Calle (Ugly Betty, How to Get Away With Murder, Heroes, The Fosters), the video is beautiful, breath-taking and devastating.

Ouroboros intertwines the narratives of four individuals whose stories on the surface seem detached. Throughout the film their accounts overlap for brief periods that prove to change their lives forever, demonstrating the connectivity of human experience.
